Another AskOkey original.
Pleated trousers are something of an AskOkey staple, whether as part of a suit, on their own or with an odd jacket. Yes, we have been making flat fronts as a casual option for some customers, but the AskOkey style does tend towards what Proff would call “dressy”, which means pleats.
Since launching the AskOkey MTM line last year, we have consistently supplied the market with pleats in abundance, so the AskOkey MTM flat front trousers may have come as a surprise. In any event, here they are, and pretty splendid, though I do say so myself, in a shameless plug for AskOkey.
This time, AskOkey’s flat fronts have a couple of different features: dropped belt loops, front waistband, and no side adjusters. In addition, customers can have back pockets, something so far unheard of in any AskOkey trouser products. In every other respect, we have the standard AskOkey waist height, fairly full cut and cuffs.
Take a look in your cupboard (or “wardrobe”, as we fashionistas call it); it might be time to put some variety into the herd with some flat fronts. Of course, though Tim chose a light brown wool, you can have any colour, and any fabric that you would like.
